Here Kitty Kitty.

It’s no secret, the world has a thing about cats. It’s also no secret that I have a thing about cats. So imagine the feline-crazed love-eyes that lit up when the catwalks started crawling with our feline friends for A/W16. Loewe has them swinging from the necks of models, Dolce & Gabbana has got crazy cat lady down to a tee, and now the high street is singing with meows.

The Furry Kitty Knitted Top from Lazy Oaf is my personal pick for the cat trend, not only for its saccharine shade of sugary pink, but for the bemused look on the little kitty’s face. In true Lazy Oaf style, it reminds me of one of those jumpers your nan used to knit for Christmas, when she couldn’t quite get the faces right, so the characters always looked mightily pissed to have been created.

I’ve been yearning after an exotic shorthair that I would call Jareth (yes, after the Goblin King) for some time, but for now I’m going to have to make do with this season’s love for all things pussy.
