  1. And what happens when you get to 100? Will you just stop? Or will you start something else? Perhaps a 100 days of Unhappiness? Loneliness? Self-Doubt? Oh….those are my 100 days lol.

    1. I did plan on stopping at 100 days, but it’s such a therapeutic experience I really don’t want to! I also debated a 100 days of pessimism, similar to what you say… My Facebook feed was forever filled with grumpy gripes and complaints, but this is just more satisfying somehow, so I think I’ll just continue!

      1. That’s awesome, and you’ve disciplined yourself well. I know as soon as I’d begin on day 1 I would already be worried that I wouldn’t have anything to post for day 2, then I’d be too tired for day 3, etc., etc. So congrats. I’m sure though that your 100 days of pessimism would be wonderful to read as well.

        1. I still worry now that I won’t find something, so sometimes it does just make me look around and discover a source of happiness, which has to be healthy for the mind! It actually didn’t even start out as a writing exercise for me, it was just something I saw on Facebook, but as I took the first photo I felt it needed a caption and here I am 52 days later and it’s become a very good writing experiment! I would probably enjoy writing something pessimistic each day far more, but I’m sure that wouldn’t be healthy! Haha!

          1. Well I do plan on reading all of your days. I am almost always sarcastic, cynical, I don’t know how much this will interfere with my career as a professional travel writer, but we’ll see I guess.

            1. Haha, well you could always forge a new market for travel writing? I do a bit of copywriting myself and unfortunately have to leave most of my personality at the door when I do so.

Copywriting huh? AWAI? I had recently tried it and realized direct sales isn’t for me, but they offer a travel writing course and a web writing course that I’d love to take. And this would be so much more satisfying if we could email each other or something, so we’re not talking to our own blogs lol.

              2. Funnily enough I actually do travel copywriting mostly, more guides to places than sales though, but I don’t actually get to visit any of them first! My email is laura@laurafeasey.com if you want to email me!
